The beginning of our barn. All construction done at Crossing Jordan Farm is done by McCord Construction Company. My husband is a General Contractor and this comes in very handy here at the farm!

It's coming along. We don't have a lot of pictures of the barn, actually, going up. We had just moved here and everyone was so busy at this time, we didn't have time to take many pictures.

The roof is, finally, on.

It won't be long, now!

It will shelter all of the animals, now. There is still a lot of work to be done on the inside, though.

The doors have been built and put on.

It's the first, new, barn we've ever had. We've been raising animals for many, many years and we've always had sheds or pieces of a barn, so, we're very pleased with how it turned out and happy to have such a nice shelter for our animals.

Getting ready for the concrete truck. In 2011, we poured a concrete slab in the hallway of our barn. This was a necessity. We had dealt with a lot of mud, in the winter time, for the last two years. The concrete was a, much needed, improvement.

No more tromping in the mud!

There was enough concrete left over to pour a ramp off the back of the barn.

I came across a few pictures of our small barn, in the buck pasture, being built.
